I managed a UK-wide campus campaign for Quizlet aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving app downloads among university students. The strategy blended large-scale digital out-of-home (OOH) placements with face-to-face engagement to create authentic connections between students and the Quizlet brand. Our goal was to educate students on how Quizlet could support their studies while building a positive, relatable brand presence across campus.

To achieve this, we rolled out digital media panels in high-footfall student locations—including university buildings, student unions, pubs, and halls of residence—to keep Quizlet top-of-mind. Simultaneously, we executed 46 on-campus activations across the UK, offering students free barista-style hot drinks when they downloaded and signed up to the app. A dedicated team of brand ambassadors reinforced these efforts by sparking conversations and showcasing Quizlet’s benefits in person. This integrated approach combined visibility with direct interaction, turning awareness into active engagement and app adoption.
